Travel Feature | Yosemite National Park

This national park holds a special place in my heart. Not only was Yosemite National Park where I proposed to my now wife, it’s also where we got married!

Easily one of the top 3 national parks in the world, Yosemite features beautiful landscapes and a plethora of stunning wildlife. It’s the perfect destination for nature enthusiasts, avid hikers and mountain climbers. This massive park covers an area of 748,436 acres and sits in 4 counties. With so much more to adventure, the video below barely scratches the surface of what you will see when traveling through the park.

While visiting the park we stayed at Rush Creek Lodge which is located outside the park. HIGHLY recommend this location though as it has an amazing spa and great food. They also have a nice little shop to get snacks at before you go out and traverse the wilderness. If you really want great park access to maximize your time there are several AirBnB options as well. Of course, if you’re a REAL adventurer then camping out is certainly an option.

This video features landscapes visuals from the locations below:

  • Yosemite Valley

  • Tenaya Lake

  • Taft Point

  • Glacier Point

  • Bridal Veil Falls

  • Half Dome

  • El Capitan

  • An array of beautiful sequoias

Some wildlife we spotted while venturing through the wilderness:

  • American Black Bear

  • Stellar's Jay

  • Common Raven

  • Mule Deer

  • Golden-mantled ground squirrel

  • Douglas squirrel

  • A variety of picidae

Video Feature | What's Good?! Safe & Balance with YOGAqua on Spectrum 1 News SoCal

We’re all just trying to squeeze in our daily workouts throughout the pandemic. While some of us are coming up short on our new year’s resolution - others are persisting they meet their goals in a unique & socially-distanced way.

Amy Paffrath, positivity guru & hostess of What’s Good?! on Spectrum 1 News SoCal invited me to bring my camera along for some additional footage on the above segment about YOGAqua - yoga on a stand up paddleboard. I even took advantage of the opportunity to take a board out for the first time myself (thankfully not shown in the segment!). It was a perfect day to soak up the rays and witness the fitness world from a different view - on the water!

Beautiful Norway | KDOC's Right This Minute | Viral Video Show

[✓] Take an epic vacation to Norway

[✓] Video every moment on my iPhone X

[✓] Get content featured on a TV show?

May 2019 I took a family trip all over Norway and decided I was going to commit to making daily 1-minute videos for every city we stopped in. It was a great way to keep myself creative in any downtime. Granted, I lost some sleep trying to keep up with the creative hustle, but what came from it was worth it!

I recently decided to compile the footage together as a travel reel to show what I can do in terms of B-roll (even with a simple iPhone X) and feature my perspective on the adventure. Uploaded it to Vimeo and all of a sudden that same week was contacted by Eric @ RTM Viral Video Show on KDOC asking to feature the content. Pretty cool!

Nowadays, I’ve invested in the pro gear to capture even better footage and have a trip planned next year for Israel and Jordan.

The moral of the story is that you never know what the result will be from your free-time creativity. Stay creative, my friends!
